How to get rid of Editing marks in MS Word


Microsoft launched MS Office to lend a hand for all the activities that happens in an office. Important documents, bank account details, spread sheets, diagrams and presentations can be made easily using the MS Office. In the MS Office package; MS Word is the application that’s been widely used by people around the globe. Editing marks that appear in red underlines are one among many features in MS Word, these editing marks will help an individual to realize his\her mistake and can correct it. But MS Word also carry options to avoid these editing marks if you are intending to just write down and doesn’t need the help of the editing tool in MS Word. MS Office 2003 and 2007 have different techniques to avoid this editing tool. Guidelines developed by Microsoft tech support team will help you to see through the removal of editing tools from your MS Word.
Instructions
For MS Word 2007
Go to the “Review” button placed on the top most corner of your Microsoft Word Window.
Check the status of the “Changes” button, if it’s highlighted then that means that this tool which monitors the editing tool is now working and is in now “ON”.
Hitting on the “Changes” tab will go back to your old ways when the “Track changes” button was in the “OFF” position. This will eradicate the editing tools from your MS Word interface.
For MS Word 2003
Launch MS Word application and hit on the “Tools” tab placed on top of the MS Word 2003 window.
Inside the tools menu look if the “Track Changes” option is in “On” option. If so; it’s in working status and editing tools are now available on your MS Word interface.
Now go to the “Track changes” tab, which can be accessed from the “Tools” menu located on top of the MS Word window. Doing so will turn off the editing tools in the MS Word, this also means that you will no longer have the services from editing marks while preparing documents in MS Word.
Additional tip
Using the “Ctrl”, “Shift” and “E” keys on your keyboard together will turn on\off the editing marks in MS Word. This is applicable on both versions of MS Word 2003 and 2007.
