The given steps of the web page to fix outlook error 0x40040116 are correct and i have also used scanpst.exe which is also called inbox repair tool. You can use this tool to repair outlook 2007, 2010, 2013 etc.

ReplyDeleteI was also facing this outlook error 0x8004010f when I try to receive emails. I didn’t find any solutions to fix this error. But when I use download scanpst.exe and install in my system and after completing scanning , this outlook error automatically removes and also fix other outlook problems.
